In partnership with the Fondation Général Henri Guisan, the Château de Morges presents a temporary exhibition dedicated to General Henri Guisan.

In partnership with the Fondation Général Henri Guisan (FGHG), the Château de Morges presents a temporary exhibition dedicated to one of the most emblematic figures in contemporary Swiss history: General Henri Guisan.
Commander-in-Chief of the Swiss Army during the Second World War, Henri Guisan played an essential role in the defense and unity of the country in the face of external threats. In this exhibition, you'll discover the key moments of his commitment, from the famous 1940 Grütli appeal to the strategy of the national reduction, which had a profound effect on Switzerland at the time.
Produced to mark the 150ᵉ anniversary of the general's birth, this trilingual exhibition (French, German, Italian) offers a plunge into history through rare documents and photographic and film archives accessible via QR codes, as well as a selection of previously unseen objects from the Château de Morges collections.
